Salam Ramadhan,

esq1
Pak Rashid, Pak Rinaldi, Pak Amok, Pak Aminul & Pak Andi. Semuanya presenters kecuali yg ditengah. 😀

Hari ni lari sikit drp China. Kita balik ke KL jap ok. 😉 Minggu lepas saya rasa mcm baru temui hidup baru lepas gi kursus E.S.Q: Emotional + Spiritual Quotient kat Hotel Renaissance, KL. Hebat betul impak kursus ni. Superb!

Sejak saya kerja, dah lebih 40 kursus yg saya pergi. Tapi yg ini mmg betul2 bagi kesan maksima. Stephen Covey pun tak se-power ni.

Saya salute sgt2 kat Pak Ari Ginanjar Agustian & Crew dari Indonesia. Terima kasih kerana bagi saya betul2 fahami erti kehidupan. 😥 .huk.. huk.. Presentation+ Multimedia+ Muzik+ Aktiviti2 semuanya cukup mantap. Pendekatan yg diguna lebih kurang cara Harun Yahya.

Sepanjang 3 hari, kita diajak meneroka alam Emosi & alam Spiritual. Tak cukup dgn tu, kita juge dibuai dgn lawak jenaka & aktiviti2 ceria. Tapi, dgn tiba2 jek kita boleh menangis teresak2. Sungguh luar biasa (sebut la ikut slang Indon 🙂 ).

Kepada semua pembaca blog, saya dgn seikhlas hati really.. really.. really encourage anda utk pergi ke kursus ni. Iye, walopon guna duit sendiri. Pasti tak rugi. Masa kursus, bukalah minda, hati & rohani. Just follow the flow. Lepas register sekali, kita boleh join program2 alumni dgn percuma. Nak tau lanjut, klik di sini: http://esq.com.my/v1/

Drp 250 peserta, saya jek yg dpt sejambak bunga ni. Hehe.. tuah badaan..

Sesoai benar sebab habis jek kursus 3 hari, terus Ramadhan. Lepas kursus, saya rasa mcm baru balik dari Haji. Sungguh! Syukur sgt2 sbb Ramadhan kali ni pastinya berbeza.

Reality Check:
1. Mari kita byk2 beristighfar dlm bulan Ramadhan ni.
2. Bacalah dgn nama Allah. Bacalah.. Bacalah.. Bacalah..

Semoga jumpe lagi,

book2.jpg Salam Semua!                                  book3.jpg

Satu perkara yg amat menarik untuk diraikan. Hari Buku Sedunia. Ye.. hari ni Hari Buku Sedunia! Saya agak, musti ramai yg tak sedar. Maklum la, secara purata rakyat Malaysia cuma habiskan 2 buku jek setahun. Mana le sampai ke ‘makam’ nak raikan hari buku kan? Ehehe..

Hari ni, sedar tak sedar dah tahun ke 10 Hari Buku Sedunia diraikan. Sebagai org yg menghargai buku, saya rasa  sgt2 berbangga kerana sejak 10 tahun yg lepas, saya suka baca buku. Isk.. mcm tak caya! Dulu2 mmg maleh.

Kepada kawan2 saya yg masih tk jadikan baca buku sebagai tabiat, inilah masa terbaik nak pupuk tabiat yg bagus ni (heh..pesanan utk diri sendiri gak yg kadang2 ter’copet’ tabiat lama).

Time ni kebanyakan kedai buku tgh bagi byk diskaun ni:
Times: 25% hari ni & 20% pada 2-4 Mac.
MPH: warehouse sale pada 28 Feb – 4 Mac.
Sambil jalan2 weekend ni ngan awek, wife, anak, husband, datuk, nenek, ayah, mak, bapak, belilah buku. Dan baca.

Reality Check:
1. Ayat pertama al-Quran bermula dgn Iqra’ = bacalah 8)
2. Cek juge entry saya 2 hari lepas kat bawah tu.. cara2 nak  dpt diskaun.
3. Kat Fuad:Almari Buku – jgn mara aaa.. minggu ni tercakap byk bab buku pulak.. hahaa

Nota tapak:
Berbalik kepada tema blog – travelling..hehe
1. Kepada yg suka adventure & push yourself to the limit, jangan lupa Taman Negara Eco-Challenge (24-25 Mac). Nak tau lanjut kena email: mtpnpahang@motour.gov.my

Hingga bertemu lagi!

Esok ptg: fly & berweekend di KL..yeehaa.. boleh beli buku byk2 kat KL nanti.

Where to buy books & get great discounts? 27 February 2007

book.jpg Hi! I’m back!

Besides travelling, I’m an avid reader too. No doubt about it. So are you, I guess. Hmm..but where could we get cheaper ‘new books’? Here are some tips for you:

Kinokuniya (KLCC):
I love this shop. The books are arranged in a way that is so easy for us to find. Sections by sections. Categories by categories. And if you still get lost in the store, you could always go to the Search Machine or ask for help from any staff. They are well trained to assist you.
Pricewise: Normal published price. Sometimes have promotion: “20% discount on this item with purchase of another item in a single receipt on the same day”. That means 10% discount per book.
Trick: Buy another book with that sticker & you’ll get 20% off for both books.

Times Bookshop (KLCC):
The book arrays are limited. But hey, that’s not bad. It will cut half of your time on books selection.
Pricewise: 10% off is automatic if you own a membership card. Quite many times per year they will give you 25% discounts on certain books. Great savings huh? And as a member, you’ll get 20% birthday voucher every year.
Trick: Update your list on books you wanna buy. On your birthday month, go all out buying in bulk. Hahaa.

MPH (Midvalley, One Utama):
Great collection of books. The irony is I always get lost in the store! 😦 ReadersCircle card is not that helpful. Anyway, booktalks & some weekend programs for your kids are good.
Pricewise: Quite expensive. Even during promotions, on average you’ll get only 10% off.
Trick: Go to MPH for free readings while sipping your Starbucks. Ghee..

Borders (Berjaya Timesquare):
Great display of books & wide range. Staff are well trained too. Different experience!
Pricewise: Normal published rate. Sometimes offer as high as 20% discounts on certain titles. For some books though, the prices are so low – gardening, DIY & etc.
Trick: No trick here.

Bookshops at Airports:
I love the ‘Bestseller‘ bookshop at KLIA. They offer, well as you guess – only the bestseller books. This shop is great to help busy traveller like me. The price for certain titles are cut by 20%. Other bookshops at airports offer normally priced books.

For certain authors, buy online via their websites. Some give you as high as 70% discounts!

Reality Check:
1. Some people said 10%, 20%, 25% off per book is nothing. I say, that 25% discounts can give you a FREE book after your 4th buy.

Hope the tips help you buy & read more. Or maybe you have a better idea. Do you mind sharing?

See ya!

sharegm.jpg Salam pembaca mynexttrip semua,

Post kali ni saya nak share sikit tips yg saya dapat semalam. Separuh hari semalam ada sesi dgn GM saya dari KL (sorang perempuan yg penuh sifat keibuan). Sgt menarik pada saya. Jom cuba buat skrg ni:

1. Dapatkan sorang partner. Suruh dia pejam mata & bertenang. Suruh dia layaan je perasaan dia (follow the flow)… ready?
2. Baca LIST A kat bawah. Setelah selesai, tanya apa dia rasa.
3. Baca LIST B kat bawah. Setelah selesai, tanya apa dia rasa.
4. Lepas buat, share la dgn pembaca mynexttrip semua apa hasilnya? Kalau anda sendiri jadi bahan experiment lagi best. Anda dpt rasa apa yg saya maksudkan ni. Cubelah!

LIST A:
PERANG…..KEBULURAN…..TSUNAMI…..KEMATIAN…..MAYAT BUSUK…..KANSER…..ACCIDENT…..KENA TUMBUK…..JATUH TANGGA…..TERSEMBAM…..

LIST B:
Laut biru…..Ikan2 berenang…..Angin sepoi…..Sawah padi…..Gadis Sopan…..Bunga2 mekar…..Bangau terbang…..Langit biru…..Bintang Berkerlipan…..Matahari menyinar…..

Reality Check:
1. Apa perkara terakhir yg dia fikirkan lepas test ni? Negatif ke Positif?
2. Hanya dgn ubah kata2 yg simple je kita dah boleh berubah kan? Amazing kan? Apatah lg kalau kita ubah byk benda lain di sekeliling kita. Fikirkanlah…
3. Boleh guna teknik ni utk tukar mood time tgh down.

Setuju tak?
